For engineers

Your career. Your terms. Total visibility.

Every project on Rezon shows the gross weekly rate, the full technical brief, and the remote policy before you respond. Traditional SES hides these details until after you've committed. We don't — because that's not how professionals make decisions.

Sample project listing

What the listing looks like before you decide

Rate, stack, client sector, remote policy — all on the listing page. Nothing is held back until after you've agreed to the project.

Rate shown upfront — no negotiation after you say yes
Client described by industry — no real company name, full transparency on sector
Remote policy stated before the first call
What you get with Rezon

Designed for the engineer's side of the table

Gross rate shown upfront, always

The weekly rate on each listing is the amount you receive. There is no broker margin deducted from it — Rezon's fee is charged separately to the client.

Direct engagement — one contract, two parties

Your contract is between you and the client. No third-party SES company inserted into the chain. Payment flows directly; there is no intermediary holding invoice funds.

Short contracts to long placements

Projects on Rezon range from 4-week engagements to 12-month placements. You set the availability window in your profile; matching respects it.

No silent CV forwarding

Your profile is only shared with a specific client when you consent to that match. You are not pooled into a database that brokers query without your knowledge.

How it works for engineers

From profile to first day — five steps, no gaps

1

Create your profile (about 10 minutes)

Specify your primary and secondary tech stack, preferred project types (greenfield, modernisation, infrastructure), your availability window, and the minimum weekly rate you'll accept. That's everything Rezon needs to match you.

2

Receive matched project listings

Rezon sends you listings where your stack, availability, and rate floor all match. Each one includes the gross weekly rate — not a range that narrows after you apply, but the actual budgeted number.

3

Read the full brief before committing

The complete project document is on the listing: stack requirements, remote days per week, engagement duration, client industry, and any specific language or certification requirements. Nothing is withheld at this stage.

4

Express interest or pass — no follow-up calls

Your decision carries no social cost. Passing on a listing has no effect on your profile, your matching priority, or your relationship with Rezon. There are no follow-up calls to explain yourself.

5

Contract direct, payment on agreed schedule

When you accept a project, the engagement contract is between you and the client company directly. Invoicing schedule, payment terms, and IP ownership clauses are defined before work starts — not negotiated after you've already begun.

Common questions

Questions engineers ask before joining

Yes. Engineers pay nothing to join, create a profile, or accept projects. Rezon charges a service fee to the client side only, which is disclosed separately on the project listing.
The rate shown on a listing is the gross weekly amount you receive directly. Rezon's fee is a flat service charge billed separately to the client — it is never subtracted from your rate. See the How It Works page for the full breakdown.
Project listings describe the client by industry and area (e.g. "Financial services, Shibuya") rather than by company name, to protect client privacy during the matching phase. Full client identity is disclosed after a mutual match is confirmed.
Decline freely — there is no penalty, and it has no effect on future matching. We track decline reasons (optional) only to improve listing quality.
All contracts are in Japanese and governed by Japanese law. English summaries are available on request for engineers who prefer them alongside the formal Japanese document.
Most engineers receive their first project suggestions within 3–5 business days of profile completion. Time to acceptance varies by stack demand and your availability window.
